Summary
This programme sets learners up with basic knowledge and skills to work safely and confidently on a farm. It’s a great first step to an apprenticeship.

- safe handling of livestock and behaviours
- assisting with milking and knowledge of the milking shed equipment and hygiene
- assisting with feeding
- assisting during calving and/or lambing
- fencing (installation and maintenance)
- planting and caring of trees and shrubs
